zgpu

Your GPU has more in it.

Built by gamers, for gamers.

zgpu is a free app for your gaming PC. It benchmarks your card, shows you how to tune it for games, and ranks it against every card of the same model. When you're not playing, it can earn you cash rendering AI jobs.

One grid of gaming PCs.

Every pulse is a job looking for an idle card. Follow one in.

  1. Benchmark it. Then tune it for games.

One free run measures what your card can actually sustain, not what the box says, and tells you what to tune for gaming.

    How the score works
  2. Compute

Sustained FP32 and FP16 throughput, measured on your own card, under real load.

  3. Memory bandwidth

How fast data moves between the GPU and its VRAM. Rendering leans on it as hard as on compute.

  4. Efficiency per watt

Your score divided by the power it took. The same score on less power is the better card.

  5. Stability

On the die, a check computation runs twice and must land on the same answer. Fast and wrong counts as unstable.

  6. Safe tuning limits

Every card on the grid runs paid work inside the same limits: never above stock, 70–100% of default power, and it backs off 5 °C before your card's own thermal limit.

Ranked against your own card.

The leaderboard groups results by card model, so you're measured against the same card in other people's rigs, not against a flagship. A score is marked verified only when its telemetry adds up.

Checking the leaderboard

Open the leaderboard

Stop playing. Start earning.

Opt in, and your card renders AI jobs while you're away. Launch a game and the job hands straight back to the network. Your GPU is yours again, instantly.

  • Paid per finished job, in cash. Payout rates are published before paid hosting opens.
  • Pauses the instant you start a game. The job goes back to the queue and never counts against you.
  • Nothing runs until you opt in. Hosting is off by default, and you can switch it off any time.
How hosting works

Tuned for rendering. Never past stock.

For paid work, zgpu only tunes down: a lower power limit, capped clocks, an undervolt. If temperatures climb it backs off, and if anything looks wrong it puts your card back to stock.

Power limit
70–100% of stock
Clock lock
at or below stock max
Clock offset
up to +300 MHz, only with clocks capped at stock (the undervolt)
GPU core
5 °C under your card's own slowdown point
Memory junction
kept below 95 °C
Any change
only after you opt in
Every limit, in full

We started in the 4-way SLI era.

Four cards, one bridge, chasing every last MHz. Some of those 3DMark scores are still on the board.

zgpu is that same obsession, pointed at AI: get the most finished work out of every card, keep it safe, and pay the people who own them.
