zgpu

Earn withyour GPU.

When you're not gaming, your graphics card is doing nothing. Opt in, and zgpu puts it to work rendering AI jobs, then steps aside the moment you want it back.

Paid in cash, per finished job.

How hosting works.

Five steps from install to payout. You stay in control at every one of them.

  1. Install the free app

It reads your GPU and runs the benchmark. You get a score and gaming advice whether or not you ever host.

  2. Opt in to hosting

Hosting is off until you switch it on, and you can switch it off any time.

  3. It renders while you're away

Jobs arrive as containers assigned to your specific GPU, and only run while you aren't using your PC.

  4. You start a game, it steps aside

The job is handed straight back to the network and finishes somewhere else. It never counts against you.

  5. Paid per finished job

Every job your card completes is paid in cash. Rates and payout details are published before paid hosting opens.

Your card's states

what the app reports
  1. Ready for workavailableYou're away. The card can take a job.
  2. RenderingrunningA job runs inside the safe limits.
  3. You're backowner_busyYou start a game. The job goes back to the queue.
  4. All yourspausedNothing runs until you're away again.

What you need.

Early access starts small, with the setups we can support best.

Graphics card
NVIDIA RTX
Tuning
desktop PCs only
Laptops
never tuned
Operating system
Linux first, then Windows
Hosting
off until you opt in

Early access runs on Linux first. Windows becomes the main platform before public launch.

Safe tuning limits.

Tuning is opt-in, and every limit below is enforced by the app. Nothing changes on your card without your opt-in.

Rendering: never above stock

Power limit
70–100% of your card's default
Graphics clock lock
at or below stock maximum
Clock offset
up to +300 MHz, only with clocks capped at stock (the undervolt)

In effect, paid work runs your card as an undervolt: less power and heat, never more.

Gaming: recommendations only

  • A setting is applied only when you confirm it.
  • Even then, only within NVIDIA's own minimum and maximum for your card.

Temperature backoff

GPU core
5 °C under your card's own slowdown point (83 °C if the card doesn't report one)
Memory junction
below 95 °C, where reported
  • On a breach, the power limit drops 5% and the card is tested again.
  • Two breaches in a row put the card back to stock.

Automatic revert to stock

  • If the app exits or crashes.
  • After a driver reset or an Xid error.
  • If a check computation fails.
  • Two failures pin the card to stock for 7 days.
  • Tuning also clears on every reboot or driver reload, by design.

Stability proof before paid work

  • A tuned card must reproduce its own stock-clock result on a deterministic check computation before it can take paid jobs.
  • It's re-checked at random intervals.

Never, in this version

  • Tuning laptops.
  • Fan curves.
  • Voltage-curve editing.
  • Kernel drivers.
  • Memory clock offsets.

Host early.

The first hosts come from gamers and the overclocking community. Tell us what you run.
